Re: Tennessee BAR EXAM

I'm not sure if there are a lot of choices in TN. I went to an out-of-state law school, so I was at a bit of an disadvantage. All I saw was Pmbr and BarBri. Pmbr focuses on the MBE. I didn't take it. I did take the traditional BarBri course. I felt that BarBri focused too much on the MBE at the expense of not focusing on the essay material but I did pass in the end. I guess with BarBri you just have to listen to the lecture material on the essay subjects and practice those essays on your own. We did not do any essays in BarBri. It also helped me to take some of the essay subjects during my last semester of law school because they were still fresh in my head. It was black letter, but it made learning any state distinctions easier.

Best of luck!
