I think you should try to go with your usual early morning routine. If you usually drink coffee to wake up you should probably do the same thing. I'm not a coffee drinker. Find out what beverages are allowed in your testing center. Mass only allows water but I guess Vitamin Water fit the bill because that's what I brought and it worked really well for me.
