Hey Freshman,

1) No, you do not need to take a legal ethics class before you take MPRE. However, you do need to get some study material to familiarize yourself with it. You can probably search for MPRE and read many good and bad reviews about what to use for that matter.

2) MPRE scaled score is a standard score. The standard score scale ranges from 50 (low) to 150 (high). The mean (average) scaled score was established at 100, based upon the performance of the examinees who took the MPRE in March 1999.
That means every year the numbers change b/c it is based on the performance of the examinees. Most likely tho, if you get about 50% right, then you will pass:)
