Florida requires that you sit for the MBE as part of the Florida bar exam. Florida does NOT accept your score from an MBE taken in another jurisdiction.
Grading of the Florida Bar Exam: Your score on the Florida local day (essays and multiple-choice questions) counts for 50% of your final score. The MBE counts for the other 50%. You must average a scaled score of at least 133 on each day, for the July 2003 exam, and at least 136 on each day thereafter. Florida generally releases the results of the Summer exam in mid-September and the results of the Winter exam in mid-April.
*MPRE -- Florida requires an MPRE scaled score of at least 80. Your MPRE score will be accepted by Florida only if you sit for the Florida Bar Exam and the MPRE within 25 months of each other.
