Thread: NY Bar failure

So I failed the NY Bar exam - twice in a row.

I have no idea what to do at this point for repreparation - I told my supervisors that I'm going to resign. So I guess I will be spending the next three months to study full time.

I don't want to waste my time with Barbri again. They already lost my trust.

Anybody recommend an online tutor who can actually personally coach me with the essays?

I can't go to NYC at this point - for personal and family matters, I just can't.

Any recommendations for an online tutor would be welcome.

So sorry! I failed too 1st time by 14 points but i sort of knew I would because I was juggling planning a wedding which held me back big time and was outlining like a week before exam. i did barbri too but im not really blaming them. this is what I am doing i was signing up for barbri for their free retaker course, def doing adaptibar and looking into barwrite. I didnt really study for mpt and bombed it! it was my lowest writing grade. WishI could get the PMBR book as well but im broke. I also read a lot of people say that when you do MBE questions and get them wrong, write out the explanations. so I plan on doing that. My scaled score was 134.2.
