Thread: So what happens if NY bar exam loses our computer answers again?

So if they make us sign a waiver now, then what happens to the victims? Do we just have to take the bar exam again without any compensation? Our time lost?

Those taking the New York bar exam on their laptops this February will be required to sign a new, detailed waiver protecting the state Board of Law Examiners from liability if the exam software malfunctions.
The test takers will be using new software, following a glitch this summer that lost essays for 47 test takers, the New York Law Journal reports.
The contract with the company that provided the malfunctioning software has expired. The new software will be provided by Examsoft Worldwide Inc.
The waiver (do***ent posted by the New York Law Journal) protects the bar examiners from liability because of malfunctioning software, hardware and electricity outages.

you could try the handwritten exam - admittedly a nightmare for the wrist but not subject to technical glitches!! :)
