used it, hated it, stay away from it.
Their outline/material is HORRIBLE!!!!! Impossible to use. Their video is just a professor standing there.
Their model answers are not as good as the Barbri's, and their quality surely does not match up to their price.
I humbly and respectfully disagree with brookny.

The results speak volumes. Plenty of student testimonials are available online, and certainly many more will speak with you personally. Also, Jackson(the proprietor & educator) has decades of experience teaching, creating, and running 'bar review' companies on a national level.
Celebration surpasses Barbri & The Study Group, both in substance, and in hands-on updates and feedback. Jackson MumeyHe will respond to your concerns & inquiries personally, however, he will not "sell" you. He is genuinely interested in his student clients' progress and well-being, and takes on a sort of mentor/paternal role. This is not a large corporation running multistate courses & processing tens of thousands of students twice a year. It is, in a very real sense, a "ma & pa" entrepreneurship endeavor, a labor of love for them (why else would they tolerate working with neurotic bar exam students on a regular basis?).
Celebration Bar Review is NOT for you if you need a sense of accountability and "a place you have to be" every day from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (or 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.)
The flexibility of the schedule works well for most responsible, mature, working professionals.
The course materials, bar review student testimonials, and past student performance speaks volumes.
Best wishes!
Terri
Yeah, we know who Terri is, one of Jackson's employees.
Celebration, by far, the worse course anyone could take. This Mickey Mouse routine located in Celebration, Florida is owned by a guy who runs coffee shops! For $3,000 you get online material, pod casts and the right to receive daily inspiration messages. Unfortunately, the coure is not effective and the material is lacking. If you're considering this course, you're considering retaking the bar exam one more time. Jackson Mumey, the course owner, instructor, receptionist, takes a great deal of
pleasure in claiming that IRAC doesn't work. I could never get him to explain how candidates who use IRAC pass the bar exam nor why the acceptable bar answers did the same. However, I might add that
his attitude toward this issue may have changed. One of his students told me that he now believes that the bar examiners do look for an established rules in acceptable answers. Wow, what insigt, he's now accepting the "R" part of IRAC! Jackson has you waste a lot of valuable time by writing down the facts given to you in a fact pattern. Now think about it, what in the hell is this suppose to prove; that you can read? Great if you're taking an eye exam but you wont pass the bar using this approach. And how about his reluctance to provide examples of his "unique method of writing?" Wouldn't do it until a number of students started complaining that they didn't understand his approach and enrollment
started slipping.
Save your money by first determining where your weeknesses before you look for a tutor or a bar review course. Most students fail becuse they either have a low MBE score (which means that you don't know the law), or they have low essay scores (which means that you don't know how to write about the law). If you are scoring low in both areas, you don't need a bar review course, you need to undertake a complete review of the substantive law and no bar review will do this for you.
When you begin your search for a tutor or review course, look at least for someone who is committed full time to helping you accomplish your goal. By all means, don't take the Celebration course; you can take Bar/Bri for the same costs!
By the way Terri, the Study Group and Celebration are one in the same. It's where Jackson use to work and gets his material. But you knew that...

You are incorrect. I have never worked for, and do not work for, anything remotely related to a bar review organization. Far from it... if you'd take a moment to review my online profile, you'll see what I do for a living. It is all real estate and real estate related.
You are entitled to your opinion.
You are not entitled to lie or slander others.
For the record, I WAS a former student. I have PURCHASED Barbri, Study Group, and Celebration.
For me, personally, Celebration was my favorite. That's all I said.
It is not for everybody, as you have made it abundantly clear.
I suggest you tread carefully before you begin to create lies & rumors that may taint one's character... PARTICULARLY if they are untrue and without merit and completely unsupported by fact.
Avoid Celebration Bar Review at all costs. The outlines are worthless and Jackson Mumey was the most horrible and uncaring tutor I have ever experienced in my entire life.
I took Celebration Bar Review for February 2009 exam. I was told not to use IRAC and use conflict pairs instead. I believe I followed tutor's instruction and I felt good after the exam. To my surprise I did not pass. Then I figured that I had to make a change and went back to tutors that use IRAC for essay writing. I passed July 2009 exam. Afterwards, I sent an email to Jackson telling him that his system did not work for me but IRAC did work for me. I now know that it is better to use a tutor that teaches how to use IRAC.
How about Kaplan?
I too had a horrible experience with Celebration. I had failed the California bar exam by 1.5 points and decided to take Celebration the next time around. Most of the first month was spent on inspirational, motivational and speed reading techniques, rather than substantive material. It was a complete waste of time for me. My score after taking the Celebration course went down by 100 points. I went back to traditional methods the next time and passed. Also, when I told Jackson that I did not understand his comments on one of my essays and asked him to explain it to me in another way that I could understand, he became irate and defensive and accused me of questioning his methods.
I Love celebration bar! I took it for the feb 2011 exam and passed after my first attempt with a large commercial course!! Jackson is amazing and works wonders!
