I know the scaling is 50 to 150, and in Cal, right now a 79 is required to pass. (Goes up to 86 in '08.)
The raw score (how many you get right) is transferred to the final number based on the curve... bascially, if you can get at 30 out of 60 questions, you will pass with a flying color.
