![]() | ARIZONA bar question: To probate a WILL, MUST 1 witness actually show and confirm its their signature?
I'm studying for the ARIZONA bar exam but had a quick question involving ARIZONA law. My outline isn't very clear: To probate a will, MUST 1 witness actually show up at the probate office and confirm its their WITNESS signature on the will? PS: I believe BOTH witnesses MUST show up at the probate office if its contested. Is this true? (In my state, once the witnesses sign the will, you can probate it without the need for the witnesses to ever get involved again, but it APPEARS that isn't the case in ARIZONA so I wanted to double check). Thanks greatly in advance. |
