Hi,
I am currently studying for the July Bar Exam in TN. I have a few points I wanted to raise to see if others feel the same way.
I am having a very difficult time switching back and forth from BarBri to PMBR questions. I am really clicking with the BarBri questions, but with the PMBR questions I feel they are very eratic and the explanations are very poor. I also feel like the PMBR answers are sometimes based on completely different law than what BarBri has taught us.
I am following the BarBri syllabus very strictly, and doing all the assigned BarBri questions. I took the BarBri diagnostic last week and got a 115/200, which is pretty decent for this stage in the game.
I am somewhat nervous about stopping studying the PMBR questions, but I think that may be beneficial for me to do. I am scheduled to take the 3-day PMBR course later in July with the diagnostic test, and maybe I should rethink that as well.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks.

I think you need to stick to PMBR even though it's hard. Don't take the path of least resistance!

Thanks for the reply. However, it is not that I feel like the PMBR questions are that much harder. I am doing ok on them. It is just that I feel like the explanations are shaky at best, and about 1/4 of the question's explanations seem to contradict some of BarBri's explanations. Not too mention the Red Book hasn't even been updated to reflect what MBE questions will at least "look" like (i.e. still has factpatterns with multiple subsequent questions dealing with that one fact pattern, still has questions with the roman numeral answers, etc etc).
