Thread: baroutlines.com materials any good?

Hi everyone:

I'm studying for the July '08 MA bar exam with barbri materials from the July '07 course, and I ordered the MA package from baroutlines.com to supplement (updates in the law). I saw a post from someone who said he found a few errors on some baroutlines outlines he ordered, and I was wondering what others' experience was with these outlines. Thanks for your help.

I have not used their Massachusetts outlines, but was very happy with the outlines and support that I received for my state. Never noticed any errors, but I did have some things I needed clarification on and someone always got back to me right away.

Has anyone used baroutlines.com?? If so, any comments (good or bad)? It appears to be much cheaper than Barbri and other well known bar study companies.

They are non profit which may explain the price difference and plus I don't think they are a comparison to barbri since no live lectures or practice essay testing.

I went through the panic phase where I signed up for a number of things (bar essay, baroutlines, ameribar) and for what they provided, outlines mailed to me in a nice book and a lecture for my Ipod, I was really quite pleased and would recommend them for self study material.

Only complaint is that they did not have practice questions (i think they do now) and did not have any audio for my state stuff.
