Does someone know for certain whether or not California Laptop examinees can request the use of blue books as scrap paper? Outlining essay exam answers on pieces of white paper before starting to type is no problem, but I think I would have a hard time effectively outlining and organizing a Performance Test answer in loose-leaf white papers.

They don't give you looseleaf for scrap paper for the PT. They give you a booklet of stapled together paper, so it's actually like a blue book, except it is in a solid color other than white and there are no lines. It's fine to use for the PT - don't worry.

One more Q. Is the same booklet of stapled, non-lined, non-white paper (blue? yellow? other color?) also the "scrap paper" given to laptop ESSAY takers?
