Thread: Can I bring my outlines into the exam site?

Just wondering if we can bring our outlines into the exam site if we put it away during the exam. I just think having a set of outlines to refresh my memory will be a very comforting thing.

It depends on which state you are in. Virginia, for example, is very strict and prohibits outlines anywhere near you. WA, on the other hand, allows the outines on site as long as it is "quarantined" like with your bag against the wall or something like that.

Find out your state and go to the official page of that state's bar association.

I agree with the poster that said that it depends. In MA you can bring them in and there is an area where you check your bags before the actual exam begins. I would say bring copies that you don't mind throwing out if need be, that way you can get a few extra minutes of studying before you enter the test site. That's what I did.
