Has anyone used a good tutor for the Texas bar exam?

    go to UT campus~~

I recommend looking for a tutor who can give you good feed back by going through the University of Texas Austin student bulletin board. You probably have better luck there finding someone close to you. The rate should never be more than 100 dollars an hour, for someone who just passed the bar, try to negotiate a 50$ per hour if you do 3 hours a day or something like that:)

    Texas Bar Exam
I used PassYourBar for the Texas bar exam and passed with no problem. They have a ton of students from Texas and they have like a 93% pass rate there. www.passyourbar.com. I got connected through Taylor Moody. He is the Director of Enrollment.

Don't use "PassYourBar" unless you plan on doing self study. The company's "Guided Bar Exam Study Program" for about $4,000 was merely a self-study program, and I failed the Texas Bar Exam after using it. I needed and was expecting the kind of program that is more regimented. I made a big mistake paying for and using PassYourBar.

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the feedback. When you say it was "self-study" what all did the program include? Did they at least give you a schedule or something?

Use Hugh Reed from Reed Bar Review...he has 100% pass rate for South Texas College of Law since July 2006, and 100% for UH and UT for the pas two years...he takes bar exams every six months and you'll max your MBE for sure

That is not my experience; I increased my score on the bar exam by 140 points and Hugh Reed was always there for me...you have to schedule yourself at least twice per week and he provides the guidance you need to pass...they guarantee it but you have to do your work.

Mr. Thomas More -- you are a fake; no person with that name has ever enrolled in PassYourBar or Reed Law Group...DO NOT BELIEVE THIS CLOWN! Call me personally if you have any information about this fraud...800.852-3926....Colonel Hugh Reed
