Any recommendations for studying for the essays and perfomance tests only without MBE? Would Barbri Conviser Mini-Review be enough? Please comment. Thanks!

Took Michigan in 2002 and took CA in 2007

My firm was expanding and 5 attorneys took it together. Basically, we didn’t have to take the MBE portion and studied the notes from baroutlines.com, and everyone passed. I guess you can also use outlines from Barbri, which is pretty standard. In general, it’s not that much harder than Michigan bar. Don’t know which bar you took. Good luck.

Barbri and Barpassers essay books should cover you for 75% of all the bar questions ever tested
within the last 20 years. If you have the money, I'd also take the Performance Advantage workshop with Barbri. Also, start breaking down the rules to fit 3-5 page outlines per subject

Also, find someone to show you what the Bar's looking for in a one hour essay and a three hour performance test.

Skip the MBE. They're getting harder and the study time saved there can be put to better use on the writing components of the test.
