Free Program on Succeeding as a Summer Associate

PLI will be presenting a free program, “How to Succeed as a Summer Associate”, this coming June 9th, both live in New York City and on the Web (from 5:30 to 7:00p.m. Eastern).At this unique program, you’ll get practical advice from law firm partners who’ve not only been through the summer associate process, but who are now involved in supervising the summer associates at their respective firms. Partners from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP; Morrison & Foerster LLP; Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP; and Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP will explore important topics including:
  • Workload and time management expectations
  • Getting feedback and dealing with criticism
  • Making the most of your mentor
  • How to take advantage of pro bono and training opportunities
New York City program attendees will also have an opportunity to meet summer associates from other area law firms at the post-program ****tail party.
