Thread: I need a tutor.

  1.   I need a tutor. #1
I'm retaking the Florida Bar in July 2009. I have PA and DC but retook them both before I passed. (I since learned I'm ADD.) Since I'm working now and bought materials I want to get a tutor. Can anyone recommend someone? They don't necessarily have to be in Florida -- I just want someone that's good with helping me grasp and communicate the info!

    Monica,
My name is Jim Strnal. I'm located in Chicago, and I've been involved in the bar review business for 30 years. During that time, I've done a great deal of work as an outside editor for BAR/BRI. I have provided private tutoring for the Bar Exam since 1998. Although the large majority of my students reside in Illinois, I do have occasion to work with people from other states. Sometimes they are able to make periodic visits to Chicago; sometimes they can't do this, so we work over the phone. If you are interested in more information regarding my services, please feel free to contact me. My phone number is 312-431-0993. My e-mail address is jastrnal@hotmail.com. Good luck to you.

    Regards,
    Jim Strnal

    Hi,

My name is Jonathan Grossman and I am located in Hollywood Florida. I have been working with students for 8 years teaching them practical steps on HOW to take the exam ,,not just lots of rules materials.,Most of my students work and do not have long hours to study, so I create an easy study plan for them to follow,,Please feel free to check out my website www.whatstheissue.org for more information.

I took the NY and NJ bar exam and failed. I had taken a well known bar course but it did not help me. I found that after taking the classes I had less time to study and was playing catch up to do the work. When I failed the bar exams the first time, I hired Drew Novins *516-8106822. He helped me passed the NY and NJ bar by using his essay and MBE techniques. Believe me they really worked. I finally passed both bars. You should really contact him if you feel that the course you have taken in the past did not help you at all.

    Hi Monica,

Have you found any good tutors for Florida that you could recommend?

  9.   Re: I need a tutor. #9
I am using a course named MyBarprep (www.mybarprep.com) that provides unlimited tutoring and access to the NCBE questions and answers. I hope this helps.
