Thread: Joseph Slaven or Michbar - can you introduce yourself?

Have you guys heard of Joseph Slaven? If you are reading this Professor Slaven, I am looking for a tutor and would like to hear more about your service. Do you mind telling me more about your teaching style or let your past students come to this board and write about your teaching style? Thank you.

It depends on what you are doing... are you hiring them as tutors or as attorneys?

I've never heard of them... so I searched online

Joseph Slave, if i'm correct, belongs to Sandweiss Law Center, P.C. and specializes in bankruptcy (http://pview.findlaw.com/view/3440014_1?noconfirm=0)

Michbar must be someone's nickname??? I couldn't find him/her anywhere online... so I would say Joseph Slaven unless you can find Michbar's full name. If you can't... it's kind of sketchy.

Just in case I didn't get your question correctly, Michbar usually stands for Michigan Bar Exam: http://michbar.org/

    a part-time tutor

I think he is just an attorney from Michigan (Southfield to be exact) who has passed the bar and is now working for a small law firm. I guess like any other study partner, hearing a third party reviewing your paper is a good thing, but I wouldn't rely on him for the whole bar exam. Meaning that I would do my home work and have him supplement your study.
