Developer and instructor of Modernwriter, Laurene Sorensen is an attorney and exam skills specialist. She has passed the bar in 7 states (ID, WA, RI, NY, MA, VT, and CT), graded bar exams, and written, edited, and evaluated exams and preparation tools in numerous disciplines.

A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, Oberlin College, and Columbia University, she has worked as an attorney in top Wall Street firms and in solo practice, and as a consultant for American and international business and academic clients. Her article, “Secrets of a Bar Exam Survivor”, appeared in the April 2005 edition of Student Lawyer, published by the American Bar Association.

All her courses are adaptable for use in group and individual settings, and in live and distance-learning formats.

In addition to presenting the courses described above, Ms. Sorensen is available for media interviews, speaking engagements, and seminars.
