    If you had a really good made by a 2L who is top of the class and had the same professor, how many hours do I have to study for

    2. torts
    3. constitutional law
    4. criminal law

    There is no magic amount of time you want to study. And you definitely don't want to rely on someone else's outlines, the whole point of an outline is the process you go through to make it.

    To do well on an exam, I strongly suggest recreating your own outlines - as it really is what you do to get to a final outline that helps you, and do lots and lots of practice exams. Nothing beats actually writing out theh rules, as well as the analysis.

    Although creating your own outline is very useful and helps you, there is the question of available time. I would say that it is better to do your own outline, but not vital, if you think more review is necessary. I certainly agree that doing practice exams is very necessary, and more than just one or two per course. nybartutor@nyc.rr.com
