Thread: More question on "Study Law in office" program

  1.   More question on "Study Law in office" program #1
I posted many questions before and I am grateful to all the replies I got.

I have not started looking for a lawyer office to go on with this program. I thought I should take some paralegal classes (audit, in home study) before talking to a lawyer, considering my background (doctorate in medical science).

I would like to talk to anyone who is actually doing this program. Is there anyone out there who still working on this program? I know that all over the nation, there is about 70 people studying law under this program.

    Thank you very much.

I am not doing one myself, but I know that working in a law firm is the quickest way to find a sponsor. I will recommend not putting your MD on your resume unless you were asked specifically what's your highest degree. Otherwise you won't be able even to get a paralegal job cuz' they think you are not going to stay for the job and their excuse is "you are over-qualified"

In short, find a small law firm, get a paralegal job there, and ask them to supervise you, get approved, then get started!
