Anybody any tips on how much study is required for the MPRE and how hard it actually is?? Im doing it in March hopefully...

  2.   Re: Mpre #2
I think just a moderate amount of studying should do. I took it in November and scored 100. I've been out of law school for over 2 years and it's been 4 years since my MPRE course in law school. I primarily relied on the Rigos MPRE review book and questions plus baroutlines.com materials. I started studying about 2 months ahead just a little bit of review each day or every other day. I did all of the practice questions, etc. offered by the two sources mentioned above and I think that was really helpful and I also reviewed the Model Code and comments. When I took the test I thought I did awful and was pleasantly surprised with my score considering I don't think I killed myself studying for it. Good luck!

Use the bar/bri MPRE book. Do all of the practice questions and memorize as much as possible.

I have the Bar/Bri book from the summer of 2007...Will hat be ok or do you know if there has been many changes?
Also I am only startin to study this weekend...Do you think I have an adequate amount of time left to get it all in?
    Thanks for all your help!!

I think 2007 is probably fine. When are you taking it, in March? I finished the whole book and all of the practice questions, and tried to memorize as much as possible, and I passed . . .

Thanks for that....I am taking it on March 7th in Columbia....
I have that book so I suppose if i go through it over the next month which I hope isnt insurmountable, I will be ok...
Did you find it hard/stressful in any way? Sorry for all the q's, its just not really sure of what to expect...

  7.   Re: Mpre #7
It's a test, so of course it was stressful. But everyone is different. Like I said: memorize everything, do every single practice question, etc...

  8.   MPRE Practice Exams #8
Anyone have copies of practice exams? I have 1 and would like a couple more. Email your copy to me at RoadVersion@gmail.com and I will send mine to you. and....thank you very much

It's a very basic exam once you do a little preparation. I studied the BarOutlines material one week prior to the exam for about 2 hours a day and did the practice questions in that and got a 113, so it's not difficult.

Keep a clear head going into the examination and make sure to do a little study each day for a week or possibly from now if you have the time right up to the exam.

Go over and over the questions again and again until you know them inside out. There are only so many scenarios the examiners can ask you in the exam itself and I believe BarOutlines is enough.

Also, the format change in 2008 vis-a-vis the Judicial Code so I would stay clear of the old Barbri book for that aspect.

    Good luck

Can I be a pain and ask if the change with regard to the Judicial Conduct is very significant its just im studying by myself and apart from the 07 bar bri book, I have no other means to study with?
Thanks tho for all the previous replies...
