For those who have taken the bar exam after July 2007

what are the questions regarding California Civil Procedure and Evidence like? Do you basically just state 2 rules like in CA blah blah blah and in federal court blah blah blah?

Sorry I have so many questions. Thank you so much for helping out.

It's still very similar. Basically, you look for something that California will have jurisdiction over it, and you state the general, then state, in CA, then the CA rule statement. The question will sometimes specifically ask you what the CA court will do. Treat CA like you would in law school a minority rule. Point it out if it's the same with the fed. rule, but elaborate and state the exact rule if it contradicts the fed rule (like in Evidence that Best Evidence Rule doesn't apply)
