Thread: Ny Bar Exam Essays From Feb 2008

Does anyone know when the February 2008 Bar Exam questions and selected candidate answers will be released by the New York Board Of Examiners?

I believe around August 2008 (around the time July bar is finished) Sometimes they are really nice and give it to you earlier, but usually not.

They are up on the BOLE site now.

Can any one suggest me how to use these samples?
I am a foreign-educated student and quite weak in the essay part, so I really need
some good tips to do well (like 50% points in this part).
I am thinking to read the answer parts as many as possible, including the Barbri material, and recite the good ones. Any thoughts?

Check out jdjinx.com for some tips from NY passers. Also the essays posted on BOLE are not 100% correct in terms of the black letter law but they are a sample of better than average answers from actual takers of the NY Bar. It's good to review your own essays against the answers, so a tip might be to read the questions, then try to anwser it and then look to the model sample answers and compare your own answer against it.
