A better way to conquer the dreaded MBE (Bar Exam Multistate—200 question multiple choice day, part of the Bar Exam)…
Powered by his three decades in law school-exam and Bar Review expertise, Steve Emanuel (Emanuel Outlines, Crunchtime, Law in a Flash), the ultimate Bar Exam test-taker, has developed two new live courses to help you pass the MBE. The first, a substantive MBE Refresher Course offered in May, covers all points of black-letter law repeatedly tested on the MBE. The second, an Intensive MBE Workshop offered in July, provides the opportunity to take a simulated MBE and to work through hundreds of MBE-style questions (not just the 200 on the simulated exam). For best results, take both courses. **Upon sign up, students will receive over 1700 realistic practice questions with thorough explanations and answers.
Course One: MBE REFRESHER COURSE (Fri, May 16- Sun, May 18 at Fordham Law School)
The MBE Refresher Course features 18 hours of live, in-person substantive law lectures by Steve Emanuel and his all-star team of professors on the “Big Six” Multistate Examination topics: Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Property, and Torts. These in-depth lectures cover the precise ways that points of black-letter are applied and tested on today’s MBE.
- Six MBE Review books (60-90 pages per subject) of highly-distilled black-letter law by Steve Emanuel, written from scratch in 2007-2008 especially for this course.
- Lectures on the substantive law of each MBE subject by Steve Emanuel and premier law professors. Each of the 6 lectures lasts 3 hours, and proceeds topic by topic with dozens of examples of how the topic is actually tested on the MBE.
- 2-hour small-group session each day led by bar tutors who will test you with MBE-style questions, and answer your questions.
Course Two: INTENSIVE MBE WORKSHOP (July 8-10, or July 17-19 at NYU Law)
The Intensive MBE Workshop begins with a 200-question simulated MBE. Steve Emanuel and experienced tutors then review hundreds of MBE-style questions (including, but not limited to those on the simulated exam). Review is in a topic-by-topic order, to show you exactly how each topic gets tested on the actual MBE, which helps you create a “mental map” of each MBE subject.[FONT='Avenir 45 Book'] Bar tutors will help with hands-on quizzing and direct instruction. Includes a “crash course” introduction on How to Pass the MBE by Steve Emanuel.
A complete 200-question simulated MBE, as well as an answer book drafted by Steve Emanuel, thoroughly explaining the correct and incorrect answers to each question.
Six separate MBE books (120-150 pages each), also by Steve Emanuel, where black letter rules are integrated with hundreds of questions, listed sub-topic by sub-topic.
Small-group session each day led by bar tutors who will test you with MBE-style questions, and answer your questions.
A short “Confidential” mini-outline, to serve as your final review in the last hours (or even minutes) before the MBE.
