The Affiliate Assistance Team offers free training and support to help young lawyer organizations across the country through (1) written materials, (2) phone consultations, (3) e-mail consultations, (4) on-site visits, (5) teleconference programs, and (6) meeting programs. Just some of the areas where we can offer assistance include: recruitment, retention, fundraising, short or long range planning, technology, communications, budgeting, dues or non-dues revenue, governance, and project planning.

Have you thought about volunteering for org like Legal Aid or School Clinic? I also found legal writing books really helpful. Kind of like reading model answers for the bar exam was helpful for me.
