It's so distracting that we have to prepare for MPRE in law school when the finals are so demanding as it is. I was wondering when is the best time to take my MPRE? Before or after I take the FL bar exam? If before, then 1L or 2L or 3L?

MPRE
It's easier than the bar exam but it'll introduce you to the exam taking environment. You'll probably pass it and build some confidence on that. From taking the MPRE, you'll learn some of your own testing strength and weakness and be able to work on it before the bar exam.
I agree that you should think about taking the MPRE duirng your 3rd year law school :)
Take it during your 3rd year of law school
1L - law school exams are too important to be distracted
2L - too early to think about bar exam, and you should be focusing on your school activities
3L - start thinking about bar exam, take MPRE related course like Prof. Respons. and take it around the same time
for me, that works the best
