Thread: Similarity between BarBri Questions and MPRE?

  1.   Similarity between BarBri Questions and MPRE? #1
I have an old BarBri book for MPRE study, and I was wondering how similar the questions BarBri uses in practice tests and review are to the questions on the exam. I was also wondering if using a newer book would be better or if it matters that much at all (i.e. are the questions the same, etc). I believe the book is from 2000.

    Thanks!

    Hi rensational,

Yes, Barbri questions are pretty close to the real MPRE.

The rules that MPRE are based on, however, went through a major change in 2004 and a minor change in 2007. Therefore, a 2000 Barbri book probably is not recent enough for optimal results.

Test questions covering judicial ethics measure applications of the ABA Model Code of Judicial Conduct (2007 as amended) (CJC).
If you are in need of updated material I would, albeit a bit biased, recommend our MPRE material.

In addition to an MPRE study outline created specifically for the 2008 MPRE, we also include a 2 hour MPRE lecture (audio and video) as well as a last minute attack outline for refreshing your memory the day of the exam.
