It is hard to believe that only 2 months have gone by since the launch of Study For Law. The community has quickly grown from just a handful of us discussing the upcoming bar exam results to over ~10,000 daily visitors and ~2,000 registered members. Given the variety of pre law, law school and bar exam sites that are available, we are happy that so many of you are finding a home here. Who are the people in your neighborhood? We were pretty surprised to see such a healthy mix of active users on the site. 30% of you fall into the Pre-Law or Law School category, 40% of you are Post Law school and/or preparing for the bar exam and the remaining 30% of you are Tutors, Professors and practicing attorneys. We had Questions, You had Answers. We recently invited a number of you to participate in a survey to provide more direct feedback of how we are doing. The response has been amazing and on behalf of the team I want to thank each and every one of you for your feedback. Congratulations to sharif on being selected as the winner of the Apple IPod Nano. And the runner ups win… So we couldn’t afford to give everyone a free IPod, so we did the next best thing and took all of your feedback and used it to roll out a brand new version of the Study For site. You made it very clear that we had some rough edges that we needed to smooth out. We hope the results are a faster, easier to use site that enables you better to Ask, Answer and Discuss Law related topics. Some highlights include:
It takes less than 30 seconds to sign up to enjoy all of these great features and more. Best of all, it’s free! Your feedback is extremely valuable to us. Please send us feedback and let us know what we can be doing better to improve. |

I love the new changes. I would like to see better ways to just view information on my state. The category makes it easier for searching, but not so much for browsing. What about subscribing to new messages via email or maybe being able to Answer questions via email? |

This is easy. We need study groups with maybe chat or IM? We need practice materials like Outlines, flash cards, sample essays, sample multiple choice questions and answers. If 30% of us are tutors, then speak up and provide some tips. Maybe a separate section or something. I agree with monali8, I'd like to get updated whenever there are posts. |
