There are many good but expensive tutors in CA. You should do a quick search (CA tutors) in studyfor.com
I had two friends sign up for One-Timers tutoring in the past. It seems the giuy works regularly with repeat takers. Also, from what they mentioned the guy is unbelievably accessable all the time. If you need personal tutoring I think this guy is legit. In fact, I am not signing up with Bar Bri and going with him for July 09. (First time though) I don't have the number, but I believe it Jason at One-Timers.com

You must check out CA Bar Style! CA Bar Tutoring company based out of Los Angeles. Main tutor is Shana Karpeles, a first-time Ca Bar passer, and she offers personalized one-on-one tutoring and a unique new form of tutoring with a classroom setting combined with personal tutoring. I used Ca Bar Style personal tutoring. It was my third time taking the exam and Shana Karpeles really gave me the personal attention and organization of my essays I was lacking the other times I took it. I passed and highly recommend her!
