I am going to be taking the NC bar exam, but between a car breaking down, two laptops breaking down, plumbing problems, and not having a job lined up yet, I don't know if I can shell out for Barbri. what other systems are good? BARKEY, from the barkey.com looks good, but it sounds like its meant to suppliment Barbri.

Ameribar is significanlty less expensive, so is Themis.
I would try baroutlines.com and see if you can buy some extra MBE questions through ebay or so...Also, see if you can get a copy of old essays for your state so you can practice. Good luck...hope this helps!
I would look into Emanuel Bar Review - their intensive review, or entire bundle, for the MBE. But I have all of my students take the intensive review, it's fantastic

If i were you i would not think about barbri. Check baroutlines.com. It has the out line and the study plan and fairly cheap.

Im using thebarkey.com and i love it. I had plenty of materials and just needed somewhere to take tests. I feel like actually taking the exams if helping me learn better than studying outlines anyway.
