What do you guys think about Adaptibar? Is it good?

I think Adaptibar is not worth signing up. I paid the alumni rate, which was somewhat less, but I have put it on the back burner until I exhaust my current supply. My raw score actually went DOWN from last July, and my scaled score went up(go figure), and I pretty much only used Adaptibar for February with some of the Barbri drills. My tutor has advised me that Barbri's Intro and Intermediate questions are too easy. The Barbri staff attorney was another one who warned me against Adaptibar after using it this time.

So, you do the balancing test and move on. Micromash and Strategies/Tactics get the highest ratings right now, it seems.

I think it’s pretty good. AdaptiBar is apparently an internet-based MBE prep program using only ACTUAL MBE questions released by the NCBEX, not simulated questions like BarBri's and PMBR's. They go further than MicroMash in that they break down your strengths and weaknesses not only by MBE subject, but also by the subtopics such as Negligence, Intentional Torts, et cetera. They even have explanations for the answers, something the released MBEs are lacking since they only have the answer keys. I think that's pretty great.
Plus the course is $295, but they're currently offering a $50 discount so that would bring the total cost to $245. Way cheaper than BarBri's and PMBR's 3-day MBE workshop.

The idea was to establish the six benchmarks and then to do some substantive studying of the weakest areas before any further diagnostics.

Adaptibar also gives you funny feedbacks like:“You answered this question in 1 minute 44 seconds. Had you answered 64 seconds sooner , then based on your prior performance, your chances of answering correctly would have increased from 33% to 100%.

Adaptibar licenses the questions directly from the NCBEX. The ones you see are the ones that have been on past bar exams, word for word. The perceived benefit is that, to the extent a pattern is discernible from the past questions, you'll be more likely to get it from their program than you would from other MBE prep programs that must rephrase the questions so as not to run afoul of the copyright laws.

I've used some of the flashcards and they're quite useful. It tracks your weaknesses, which is a cool feature.
Also, the price is $395 now but I found the discount code U7JR on retailmenot and it allowed me to pay $345.
