Thread: What if some employment was 20-25 years ago and I cannot answer the CA Moral Character Qs fully?

You can get advanced credit checks that will go back 20-25 years (I think normal ones are only 7 years?). That should show listing of residential addresses and employers you have registered tax and govermental registration with (DMV, Post Office)

Given the 8-10 month wait time for the CalBar to complete their review, another option would be to have a background check run through a private firm ahead of time ($$$) just to cover your basis.

Personally I think they are more concerned with misconduct findings than whether you remembered the address of the McDonalds you worked at for 3 weeks back in the 80s.
