Thread: what materials do I need to pass the ny bar

  1.   what materials do I need to pass the ny bar #1
Accually I will take the ny bar in Feb.09. I have paid deposit 250 in barbri, but I now prefer to study by myself and take some supplemental training on line, like micromash or else..

I completely get loss in such a huge resources, and cannot figure out which is the best for me, do you have any advice to me, like which books or outlines should I buy and whose training is better than others?

Are you guys separate the MBE part and the specific NY part to prepare, using different tool?

As I am the first time, I am totally confused...

    Thank you very much

    feb '09 or feb '10?

anyway i have a bunch of great materials. i took the bar in 07 and have been tutoring other candidates ever since.

i suggest you get a used set of barbri books from 08 (try ebay) for practice purposes. i also have very comprehensive bar study notes and the barbri lecture audio. email me for details - pwcbabe@gmail.com.

I would strongly suggest Steve Emanuel's bar prep materials. They have an in person option, which I HIGHLY reccomend, and "bar in a box".

I use their materials in the bar prep class that I teach
