Second Day (Wednesday) afternoon session:

Grading of the California Bar Exam: Your score on the MBE accounts for 35% of your total score. Your score on the essay questions and performance tests accounts for 65% of your total score. California generally releases the results of the Summer exam in about 16-18 weeks and the results of the Winter exam in about 12-14 weeks.

Admission on Motion: California does NOT permit admission on motion. To be admitted to the California bar, you must take and pass the California bar exam. However, if you have been licensed to practice law in another jurisdiction for at least four years you may be able to take the Attorney Exam, instead of the full California Bar Exam. The Attorney Exam is comprised of the California essay and performance test (rather than multiple-choice, like the MBE).
