I am thinking of trying to pass the CA State Bar Exam but would like to do it without going to law school. Would my B.S. degree in Admin. of Criminal Justice count as a prerequisite? Would I have to work for a lawyer or judge or can I just study on my own?
ABA approved JD seem to be universally accepted. Some states have approved JDs from state schools not ABA accredited. Never heard of of non JD degrees qualifying for any state bar exam. And that is probably why no one has answered your question.
