For the state of california does one need to have taken any classes , training , or have to be qulified inorder to just take the test for the heck of it, to see if one can pass on their own individual experiences and knowledge ? Category: CA - California Bar Exam |

Yes, you need to have a JD (Juris Doctorate) degree from an accredited law school, or you can go to an non-accredited school and pass the baby bar (a smaller version of the bar exam), then you will be qualified to take the bar exam. If you don't want to go to law school, then you can get an attorney/judge authorized and supervise you for about 4 or 5 years. During this time you have to fill out forms, pass the baby bar exam, and then you may be able to take the bar exam. in short, no, you can't just take California bar exam for the heck of it. It's very time consuming and expensive for most people. |
