Hi, my girlfriend is an Israeli attorney intending to relocate to New York and take the NY Bar exam. I was wondering if there are any foreign lawyers on this board who got their legal education outside of states and can give her advice on what is the best way to prepare for bar? In addition, I am wondering whether getting the LLM degree would actually help her passing the bar exam. Thank you in advance for your time. Category: NY - New York Bar Exam |

Getting a LLM degree may help her passing the bar and getting a job. However, easier doesn't really mean much these days cuz' it's so tough. My biggest advice is to just take as many MBE subjects as possible so that when she is starting to study for the bar exam, those concepts aren't foreign.
