Yes I have heard of her, she is actually pretty big. You can studyfor "dempsey" and some reviews will pop up, too. Anyway, it may only be good for you if you have already tried hourly tutor and still failed. Many people found hourly tutors to be very helpful as far as giving feedbacks. I don't think the 5k price tag is worth it if you have already taken BarBri once and failed. studying the outlines on your own and practicing on your own, then get feedbacks once a week from tutors can be really really helpful. after all, you have do 90% of the studying, not Vivian.

I think she's pretty good...

She lets you do performance tests and get real intense for 8 weeks. She used to be a bar grader so she knows what graders are looking for. I haven't heard anything bad about her

Class structure

Students take two essay exams.

Vivian, a former bar grader, immediately reviews the morning's essay exams. her approach is not only to review the law that was tested but to show how to analyze, organize and manage time to write high passing answers within an hour.

Before next class, Vivian personally grades and thoroughly critiques each exam

Students take a Performance Test

Vivian watches students read, pick the rules, and organize. She is able to diagnose students' problems as they work. She can often fix bad habits by on-the-spot feedback.

Vivian immediately gives feedback on reading, finding the issues, interpreting the format, finding the case rules and full organizing and analyzing of the PT exam students have just completed.

During the week students are responsible for learning the law, using Vivian's essay law outlines and videotapes. They must practice writing additional essay and PT exams. In particular, every student should cement the learning from the previous week's in-class exams by doing one more progress essay and progress PT to turn in for Vivian's grading and critique.

Every week, Vivian grades and critiques 3 essays and 2 performance tests. Vivian returns all graded exams by the next class.

Only if you already know the law
She is very good at giving your test-taking strategy, but she tends to over-simplify substantive part of the test, and if you need someone to explain the law to you in a way that you can comprehend, then I say stay away from her.
