LSAT - law school admission test - strategy and tactics

I am prepping with Kaplan for my LSAT, and I have basically stopped improving after the first week. I guess getting familiar with the test format, which I can basically do on my own was the only thing that really helped me. I went to all the classes, used all the test strategy and tactic they taught us (yes, i drew out all the game graphs, marked all my questions before I answer, etc.), and did all my homework. The score remains the same.

Please advice what I can do to get over this LSAT plateau!! Thank you.

that happened to me, too. I just stopped practicing for a month, then I reviewed all my mistakes really carefully. Redid all the questions i missed to understand the right answers.

Basically, I will rest, re-practice, and improve ;)

There are three different types of section on the LSAT, and you likely have one that will improve. I hit a wall on the games and got discouraged, but realized that I could learn to do the argument questions better. I broke them down into question types and did in-depth work. Since the argument questions are 50% of the exam, improvement here really pays off.

My advice would be to break the LSAT down. Pick a section, then break it down further into types of questions.

I couldn't afford Kaplan and studied with a workbook, but this strategy got me a 166. I did miserably at first and I'm not brilliant. Just stubborn.
