![]() | Re: NY bar and NJ bar at the same time take both - many people do First off - no, you are not at all too late for feb 2008 - depending on several factors, a candidate can study anywhere between 5-10 weeks and be adequately prepared to pass the bar exam (a friend of mine passed by cramming in 3 weeks, but that's certainly not recommended). Secondly, NY is much more intensive and covers more topics than NJ does. Jersey is a multistate jurisdiction - the essays only cover the 6 MBE subjects plus civil procedure - so while studying for the MBE portion of the NY exam u are essentially studying for the NJ essays as well. So in short, yes, take both - it's very doable and you have more than enough time to get ready for Feb 2008. |
