Study material for 2008 bar exam - attorney applicant

I am a practicing attorney and am looking to take the Washington bar exam as an attorney applicant in 2008. I was wondering if you know where I can get the study material for attorney applicant (basically I just need an outline for the professional responsibility portion) without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars. Thank you.

celebration: have you tried celebration bar review? they have pretty reasonable programs for attorneys (like $200) that's still within your budget right ? their professor lecture tape is pretty boring tho:( the outine is good however. so I still highly recommend it.

BarOutlines.com:

They have bar outlines for $50. If you are not willing to pay ANYTHING, then maybe you can offer to teach in your state in exchange for a set of free material for the WA bar exam.

This is a really good post that I want to share
Quote:
I self-studied and passed the attorney exam on my first try. It takes discipline and a lot of work, but it certainly can be done.

I worked full time and only had two full weeks off work. I knew my time was limited so I started preparing in April, reading and outlining. At the end of May, I began doing practice tests and continued through June. I did every single essay in Adachi's books and every essay I could get my hands on. I borrowed a couple tapes of BarBri lectures and thought they were useless. I didn't even finish watching them because I felt my time was better spent doing practice tests. I learned the law that way. I made my flashcards and my own outlines using Conviser and other outlines I found online.

It can be done on the cheap. Don't think that you have to have an expensive tutor or plunk down the cash for BarBri. I spent about $700 total for my bar study materials. The bar exam industry is a total racket.

Also, I'd be reluctant to listen to anyone that says you "cannot pass without studying full time for 8, 9, 10, etc. weeks." People on this board told me that there was no way I would pass with only two weeks off work. You know yourself and your limits better than anyone on this board, so set a plan in motion that works for you given your life circumstances and make it work. We all have obligations -- work, family, etc.. I did not let the bar exam consume my life for 5 months. I simply chipped away and learned the material, and practiced until I felt confident about my test taking skills.
